Post Awaiting God's Raindrops

Welcome
Awaiting God's raindrops...

"No! In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." - Romans 8:37

Recently, California experienced its worst wildfire incident in all its history. People watching captions of the fire on the news were in disbelief at the awesome extent of the fires they saw. The firemen fighting the fire with their single hoses appeared so tiny against the wall of fire reaching a maximum height of 50 feet. It truly seemed impossible to put out this amazing fire, and yet once the heavens opened up, the wildfire subsided to the drops of rain and snow.

Although this wildfire has been put out, there is a fire which we cannot see; an invisible fire among us that is endlessly vomiting a black, death-stained smoke. Hatred, drug-abuse, violence and murder, carnal desire, and most of all, humanism and love of pleasure that openly challenge God are the fires which cannot be seen, but are consuming us, nevertheless. Sadly, many churches and Christians who are fighting these fires seem to appear so insignificant against this immense wall of unseen fire.

But, our commander, Jesus Christ declares to us, "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom." Luke 12:32
Jesus Christ's ultimate victory is our victory as well.
We are more than conquerors in all things through Him who loves us dearly.

It is paramount that we sufficiently overcome by the refreshing showers of God's grace, washing away our sins, and casting aside dark clouds of chaos, until the day when we stand before the radiance of God.
Through this year's vision conference, we must awaken the giant that is asleep within each of us. We must awaken the Peter's and the Paul's that are asleep within us.

Let us not cause God's perfect love toward us to be in vain.
Let us not be complacent simply with our own forgiveness.
Because of His love, we must forget our past mistakes and sins, and nail them to the cross.
Because of His love, we must fully cultivate and make use of every potential and spiritual ability that is within us.
Only then, can we become a hope to this nation, a hope to our families and campuses.
To all of you who have come to attend our Vision Conference, I welcome you.
