Conference Orientation 1. Shalom! We welcome you, the future leaders of the 21st century, to Vision Conference 2004. We pray that you will be blessed beyond your expectations. 2. Attitude Check For A Holy Spirit-Filled Conference Please help keep the conference atmosphere filled with God's overflowing grace through your constant praise and prayers. Be friendly and enjoy the fellowship with everyone you meet at this conference. To maintain order and peace during the conference, please observe the following rules with a joyful heart. - Obey the proper authorities. (Romans 13:1-5)
- Fast and pray wholeheartedly. (Isaiah 58:6)
- Give full participation in all activities. (Hebrews 10:25)
- Remain within the conference area at all time. (Acts 1:4)
- Do not enter any room of the opposite times. (1 Corinthians 6:1-3)
- Be on time for all activities and meetings. (Ecc. 3:1-8)
- Abstain from the use of personal electronic equipment (CD players, cell phones, and etc.) (2 Timothy 2:3-5)
3. Nametags and Handbooks Please wear your Vision Conference 2004 name tag, and have your handbook with you at all times. Do not forget to fill in your LTC group number, as well as your hotel room number in the spaces provided. If you misplace or lose your name tag, report to Vision Conference headquarters (Trabuco B/C). 4. Room and Keys Room keys will only be kept by Soon-Jangs. No one should be left in the room at any time without Soonjang's attendance. Always keep your doors locked and remember to return the keys to the Vision Conference headquarters (Trabuco B/C) on the last day of the conference. There is a $10 charge for any lost keys. 5. Meals and Fasting We will be fasting the first three meals of our conference. For more information on fasting, refer to "Power of Fasting (page 9). We will have a juice station open for anyone who is having difficulty in fasting. If you require medical attention at any time during the fast, please come to our First Aid in room #247. You must memorize Bible verses, as a small group in order to eat. Breakfast and brunch must be picked up by all Bu-Soon-Jangs from the headquarters by 11 p.m. the night before. Buffet lines will be set up in the Pavilion room. Please eat with your small group, and remember to clean up afterwards.
6. Elective Seminars For the people who already registered via online. If you have forgotten where you are supposed to go, check on the list posted up near the headquarters. For other who are not registered yet, pick up the tickets available in front of the headquarters during the moving time, right after the LTC I or Vision Morning. Since we have a limit in the number of participants in each elective seminar, you can only pick up ONE ticket per session. (Total TWO tickets) Please, be considerate to others for them to register. 7. Agape - First Aid If you require first aid or medical attention at any time during the conference, please come to room #247. If you must see the nurse late at night, you must come with your Soon-Jang. 8. Curfew Your safety and security is an important part of Vision Conference. When it is dark, please travel in small groups, never alone. The curfew time for the conference is 11 p.m. Everyone should be in his or her room with their small group by this time. No one shold be wandering around the hotel premises. Staff members with orange vests will be enforcing security during the conference, so please listen to their directions at all times. 9. Lost and Found There will be a lost and found booth set up in the Vision Conference headquarters. If you find an item that seems to be misplaced, please bring it to the lost and found as soon as possible. If you have lost an item, you may visit the lost and found only during the break time. |
