A Final Message "To Go" As this conference comes to a close, let us reflect upon the many expectations that we had anticipated as we waited for 2004 Vision Conference. We firmly believe that our faithful Father has done His supernatural work in us as He fulfilled each of our expectations during these last four days. He has met each and every one of us in a manner far beyond, and we praise Him for His faithfulness.
God has renewed our hope through His love, to embolden our faith and give us the courage to live as more than conquerors. Now it is time for us to take heart towards the challenges that face us, in light of God's promises which we have claimed in His word. Let us consider the following principles that will help us make a successful transition back into our daily lives, without shifting our focus from the Lord. 1. Be prepared for trials. Conflicts do not disappear, just because we have been blessed tremendously. Satan will try to deceive us into voiding out our faith and God's grace through His cunning schemes. Make the commitment to yield your mind, heart, and body to the Lord, so that the Spirit will reign over your thoughts, emotions, and actions. Do not let yourself be discouraged by an disappointments or mishaps; rather trust in God, not the circumstances which surround you. Choose to give thanks in all circumstances. Greater is our God in heaven than our enemy who is in the world. 2. Attend meetings regularly. Fellowship with other Christians serve as a great fuel for our spiritual growth. Make plans to regularly attend church meetings, prayer meetings, and small group bible study meetings. 3. Create lasting friendships. Make the type of friends with whom you can share your testimonies, trials, and every prayer request with. Get to know your campus staff and small group leaders. Share your joy, as well as your pain with them. Sharing your sadness with someone will reduce it to half; sharing your joy with another doubles it. 4. Live a life of applying God's Word. Read God's word daily, and witness regularly. You will not fail in your walk with the Lord, as long as you maintain a good relationship with Him at all times. In fact, the only true failure happens when we lack a deep fellowship with the Lord. |
