East Asia encompasses 20% of the world by land mass alone, and maintains a population of 1.3 billion people, that are divided into a total of 22 regions. Evangelism by foreigners is absolutely prohibited and their regulatory measures against witnessing are considered one of the most extreme. But as this country prepares to host the 2008 Olympic games, many changes are taking place that reflect a large possibility for open evangelism within the next few years.

The future leaders of the growing nation can be met in college campuses and, despite their many years of having professed the non-existence of God, we have met students who were open and ready to receive the gospel message. We have faith that God will use East Asia to evangelize to its bordering countries and as a world mission center in the near future as well.
