An Honor, A Blessing, A Privilege

It is an honor, a blessing, a privilege to become a Christian, sons and daughters of Christ. I am blessed and thankful to this day that I was raised under a Christian household because the religion gave me a solid foundation on living my life. Thanks to my beloved grandmother whom I will never forget because of her loving care and prayer that raised my younger brother and I to become who we are now.

Elementary children have very keen memory and have the brain to hold unto every sayings that is taught to them. I am every so grateful to my Lord to provide a grandmother that truly feared the Lord. I remember to this day the daily bible studies, praise, and the number of times we cleaned the house. That was my childhood lifestyle and I am so blessed to live such a wonderful life. God took good care of us. To this day, I am so grateful.

To this day, I treasure the bible that my grandmother presented to me 12 years ago. Thank you very much.

Summer Ended But My Vacation Did Not

I have two more weeks of vacation until the Fall quarter begins at Cal Poly Pomona. During the two weeks, the schedule is tight as it can get. I am currently studying videography and DVD authoring/editing as a hobby. The minute I turn on the pc and the minute that I turn off the pc, eight hours had past. The clock sure ticks when I am stting in front of the pc. In addition to videography, I am learning the Microsoft Office XP 2003 suite. I don’t want to graduate college without learning the industry standard software for word processing. Efficiency in Microsoft Office is a minimum requirement to qualify for a business-related job.

Besides using the pc, I take the time to read the following books: The Purpose Driven Life by Pastor Rick Warren and Everybody’s Normal Till You Get To Know Them by John Ortberg.

And at around 10 to 12p.m., I go outside and run few blocks. I need to prepare for the 2005 L.A. Marathon. I am so confident that I can complete the marathon. This is my first attempt and time is not the concern but only to complete the entire race. If I do complete it, I’m sure the medal and the certificate that I will receive will raise my parent’s trust level from 90% to 100%.
