“I Think For I Am A Thinker”

“I think for I am a thinker.” (Pastor Sam)
I am a nice person but that’s not good enough. I need to learn to become a person with a huge heart.

It is incredible how many choices we have as we get older. I remember when I was only a kid, I had to come home before curfew and I was taught of things that I should not do. Nowadays, I have no curfew and my parents never lecture but rather listen to my lecture sometimes.

We’re in college now and we have so many choices and responsibilites. I’m sure we all can relate to this case. You earned your first paycheck, $100. Now you have many choices on how and what you should do with your money. Occasionally, you have someone telling you how you should spend your money and in other times, you are on your own. To make the story short, what do you think will influence on how you spend your money? And are you spending it all for yourself?

My mom was watching a korean television show. The show was about a celebrity supporting an individual or a family in great need by building or improving a new home. I was impressed. The actress was an old lady with a huge heart. Bless her. The star for that program was a 12 year old girl. She wasn’t disabled. She wasn’t mentally challenged. Her case was worse. Her parents left her three years ago. Who knows what their reason was for departing their own daughter. She now lives with her grandparents who love her dearly. She is now in a track team and running for good cause.
It saddens me how careless and greedy young adults are these days. Greed for money could be the main contributing factor for divorce and family separation. Anways, it is great to see motivational shows such as that. I will do my part soon once I graduate from college.

Fornication. It is a major problem. It is the society’s norms. Constantly, christians are dropping like flies and falling into fornication. They tell themselve and their partner, we can repent afterwards. I don’t know. To me, that is what a hypocrite would say and their thought goes against their christianity. I am very proud to say that I am waiting……Marriage and sex is supposed to be between two people who are mature enough to handle it as grown adults. I hope I can be a great father….somewhat like my father.

Core Classes In College

Finally I am starting my core classes in college (thank GOODNESS, enjoying every minute of it)!! I screwed up in my first year and skipped two quarters in the past. Oh boy :( Hopefully, I can finish school within 5 years.

It isn’t that bad. Matter of fact, I feel privileged to go to college in the first place. If YOU are attending college, realize that you are in the top 5% in the world, living a fantastic life! Citizens of the 3rd countries do not have clean water for sanitation and drinking purposes, North Koreans are ruled under communism, Mexico City is overpopulated, African children are dying from AIDS and other existing diseases….and here I am, attending an institution for a higher education. I have all the resource available within reach and I am so thankful. Best of all, I have God overlooking my life and my direction.

It is rather easy to live life “as it is” and let your surroundings take over. I honestly have waisted my pre-college years and following the worldly trends. Who can we really blame?

College education is so precious and plays a huge role in my life. It helped me change how I think and how I view the lifestyle that we are living in. College is not an easy journey.
Currently, I am a bit confused with as to where I stand as a christian. More on that on a later date.

U.S. is a country of opportunity but not a land of opportunist. You and I should take advantage of all the open doors available and take the first step.
