Let Me Share My Happiness With You

I feel so very happy right now. 12:55AM March 31, 2005, I returned to the Crest apartment after Central ReComm bible study. After hanging out with the KCCC bros and sis, I left to April’s house right away. But uh oh, I took the wrong path and I was somewhat lost in the highway. I prayed and after several miles down, I managed to find the house and arrived safely. During the commute, traffic congestion took away my time but I was very happy for some reason.

Reasons To Be Happy:

Tomorrow (Thursday) is University holiday - Thank you Mr. Chavez!

Going to the beach tomorrow with KCCC brothers and sisters

Fellowship with my Sarang family - ReComm

ReComm bowling at Riverside tomorrow - right after the beach

Finished writing the business plan - w00T wo0TT (took me days~)

I met a cool sister that works as a paralegal, she will help me out on a project (Thank YOU!!)

The bible study material at the ReComm was fantastic, unfortunately time was limited

April’s birthday

A long discussion with cool people at the ReComm

and finally returning to the apartments where I can hang out more with my new roommates
I am greatly that I made the decision to move out of the house and move in into the Sarang room. The apartment is near the campus and takes about 10 minute or less to get to campus. Saves gas $$$.
To conclude this blog entry, I am once again thankful to God, my parents, new roommates, and Sarang family.

Productive Spring Break

2005 spring break is oustanding and not because I am going to a party every day or going on a cruise getaway but because I am actually applying my college education in the real world.
But before I describe my spring break, check out the camping trip that I had attended with my church brothers and the video I had post-produced afterwards:

2005 San Clemente State Beach Camping Trip (Right click and save as)

I look forward to more fellowships like the brother’s night out camping trip. The meals that we prepared, the tent setup, making smores, playing in the beach, all good memories and fun.

Spring Break Plan #1: Compose an actual business plan to provide to Uniti bank for a business loan

Thank goodness for the Cerritos library because the library had numerous books on ’small business’ and ‘guide to writing a business plan.’ My younger brother will be opening up his very own small business, thanks to my father (venture capitalist and experienced small business owner), my younger brother will start his operation by May 2005. Actually, the whole idea was my fathers and Jacob was available to do the job. I’m sure that he will do great. Best of all, most of the revenue will go into his pocket, and hopefully reinvested into the business. I’ll be there to guide him and provide advice here and there.

My father is applying for a business loan. He had several business relations with the bank for business reasons. Well, he was surprised when he was asked to provide a business plan for his new venture. He wasn’t too sure why he was asked to provide a business plan in the first place.

Well, more than 90% of the banks expect a business plan from the entrepreneur before the bank can loan the capital. To make this post short, I need to compose the full business plan and the projection plan by this Monday, March 28th. I borrowed at least eight books to keep me busy during this week and complete the business plan.

Spring Break Plan #2: Research and prepare for the upcoming civil lawsuit

My father and I filed a civil lawsuit against a party for not paying a certain amount. No details will be provided in this post. This will be my first lawsuit that I will partake and to be honest, it is stressful and exciting at the same time.

The stressful part is that I need to do a lot of reading and research in order to fully prepare for the court. My father decided not to hire an attorney and that him and I should take this case into our own hands. Uh-oh. Thank goodness for Nolo books! Nolo legal guidance has been extremely helpful and the best resource available.

The exciting part is that I will be approaching the lawsuit as a pro per and I can imagine the victory at the end of the lawsuit. Not only are we going to save the attorney’s fees, I am building relevant experience that should accomodate in my career. I love my major and my college education (thank you Lord!).

The court date is nearing very quick and I should be well prepared before the first week of spring quarter.

LA Marathon cont. “I’ve DONE it!”

I’VE DONE IT!!!

…..
Mile 16.5, out of nowhere, I got the worst cramp ever experienced on my right thigh. It was killing that I had to stall for five minutes. Afterwards, I dragged myself the last TEN miles to the finish line. I prayed urgently on that mile that God will give me strength, perseverance, and hope.
God answered immediately with two tablets of acetaminophen. Oh wow~
Those Tylenols did wonders. Within 10 minutes, the agonizing pain disappeared. However, I still had to drag myself from then on……

I will post a long post and add a photo or two within two weeks. Finals is coming up.

Can’t wait to get my hands on Final Fantasy XII

I admit, I’m a Final Fantasy geek. The next series will be the upcoming Final Fantasy XII that is estimated to be released by spring of 2005. I really can’t wait until I get to indulge my time with the game. Spend countless hours in front of the screen with the speakers set up above normal.

Ever since I was introduced to Role Playing Games (RPG) back in junior high school, RPG became my favorite genre in the videogame. And the first Final Fantasy series that I ever played was one of the best in the series - Final Fantasy III or VI (Japan). My friend Sam Van and Robin Park used to play together whenever I visited them and I first did not understand the concept the style of the videogames. It first seemed as if they were engaging in a battle repetitiously in order to college experience points (EXP).

I got my feet wet and began to play Final Fantasy III myself. It was extremely addictive due to the intriguing storyline and the character’s background. I was hooked to RPGs. I then bought a used copy of Secret of Mana from my hand and enjoyed playing that videogames. Squaresoft was the producer of the excellent collections of the RPGs and I became a loyal fan.

Played Final Fantasy III in its entirety and completed all sub-missions and obtained all special relics, abilities, espers, and etc. Good times.
The next best thing was later introduced. Final Fantasy VII for Playstation.
I never could afford the latest videogame consoles and the game itself so I had to take numerous trips to my friend’s house. I watched him play and I couldn’t get my eyes off of the screen.

I don’t recall correctly but I think my brother and I got ourself our very own Sony Playstation and borrowed Final Fantasy VII. I indulged every hour of the game. Final Fantasy VII is the best game I had ever played in my life. Hahaha, I’m such a game geek. My high schools buddies and I talked about the game endlessly. Who wouldn’t. Most teenage guys, especially videogamers must have played or were aware of the best RPG game ever at the time.
The classical score in the game brought suspense, happiness, cheers, melancholy, and anger during the gameplay. If I listen to one of the scores, I can probably retrieve the scenes from the videogame. :)

That is not all. Squaresoft has never let their loyal fans down. Final Fantasy VIII was awesome. All subsequent Final Fantasy series introduced advance features to entice the players, both the RPG and non-RPG fans. I had a blast playing Final Fantasy VIII. And thanks to my cousin, Chris, I did not have to rent or buy the game because he was the first one to purchase the game. I borrowed from him afterwards.

Final Fantasy IX was the next lineup in the ever-

umm…I’ll write later, I should be doing my homework and not blogging.
