More Blogs For Your Reading Pleasure
Hello there, I decided to write avidly from now on for your reading pleasure.
I’m going to be spending most of my week at home for a good ten quarters because of the heavy workload from school. And I mean heavy. I had to cut off something from my schedule and I hope I am making the right decision.
During this ongoing weeks, I’ll start writing blogs to get some time off from reading and homework and share with you interesting facts and information.
XBox 360
You may have already heard of the XBox 360 craze since this past Christmas holiday. So what is the craze all about? Well, the marketing department of Microsoft XBox decided to release a limited quantity of XBox 360 consoles to the public market in the United States. As we have learned (or will learn), limited supplies of goods can create a strong demand depending on the market. The videogame industry is very healthy and the market is good for the years to come because of new introductions of soon-to-be released videogame consoles, for example, the Sony Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Revolution.
As of today, there are many demands for the console and Microsoft is manipulating the release of the consoles. I’m sure that these hardwares are stored in the warehouses and waiting to be solved. But various factors are delaying the release of the consoles.
1) Manipulation - demand > supplies
2) Defects - Many reports tell that there still bugs and defects being created within the consoles. Overheat, disc error, and other not so glad problems with the console.
3) You tell me
For the past three days, I was debating whether to purchase a XBox console (not the XBox 360) for my own entertainment. eBay has a long list of sellers willing to let go off their XBox. Very tempting but I may just hold off on buying. Thank goodness I don’t have a problem with impulse buying.
