What it’s like to become a pastor
Before I start another long blog entry, check this out:
Focus your eyes on the cross for a moment. You will notice that all the dots will suddenly disappear.

If you fix your eyes on the cross, every distraction seems to disappear…
It is 3:20a.m. and I just returned from a goodbye party. My cousin Chris is officially departing on Monday morning for the U.S. Air Force. He will do fine. Chris will be gone for five good years and he will return as a brand new man.
My friend Daniel is going to leave for Philadelphia this weekend and he has a long journey ahead of him because he will be driving from California to New Jersey by himself. I know Daniel is fully prepared for the trip and I know God will take good care of him. My long time hyung Hoon is leaving next Friday to New York to start a new year at Columbia University. Go hoonie!
All three of the brothers go to the church that I had been attending during my childhood years. We’ve all grown and the church has changed alot throughout the years. I’ve finally met the new youth group kids and the new JDSN. Michael JDSN is quite a character. I’ve heard great things about Michael JDSN from Daniel but he is very different from what I’ve imagined. Meeting him face to face, Michael JDSN proved that he has THE leadership skills. He knows what he is doing and I can tell that he has gone through many experiences in his past that lead him to become a better man that he is today. God works wonder. Michael JDSN will lead the youth group kids with God’s help to lead and take very good care of the ministry. Everyone is at good hand.
I heard from a sermon that the #1 most favorable career of all times is………
being a pastor. I couldn’t agree more. Being a pastor is like the perfect job if you ask me. They serve God full-time, have great fellowship with brothers and sisters, read the bible everyday, lead the ministry, glorify God through work, and the list goes on. No wonder many of the brothers I know are planning to attend seminary school after their undergraduate program. They have the heart to pursue God full time. And during the OMC summer retreat, I’ve many great testimonies of their summer missions and how they have acquired a new perspective in life. Their hearts are burning with love and anxious to do God’s work here in the U.S. It truly is amazing and wonderful to see their heart grow for Christ and to acknowledge their duty as a christian to share the gospel to non-believers. Experiencing a summer mission upgrades their spiritual level.
