Extensive Training For Upcoming LA Marathon XX

Frustration… all week long.
Commuting 50 miles roundtrip, Monday thru Friday is such a waste of time.
I am frustrated… darn emotions.
The worst part of the week is catching a severe cold. I either caught the cold from a team member in class or from wearing a short and a shirt at 50 degree Farenheit.

I have registered for the LA Marathon, winter of last year. It is January and I am keeping up with the extensive training. Two months of physical and cardiovascular training left. My heart condition and current health should manage the agony during the training and hopefully, during the official race.
I’m not too concerned about the Marathon. I just want to complete the Marathon in its entirety and get that shiny metal and the certificate. This will be my first and my last LA Marathon that I will be participating, unless some unforseen circumstance(s) require me to register again. :)

The training in itself is enjoyable but the amount of time it requires is of high expectance. A prospective Marathon runner prepares a minimum of 25 miles a week total and let me emphasize minimum. And the training miles are on the street, flat asphalt and not the running treadmills you find in a gym.

I’m just posing to expose my leanness. :p Biceps and six-pack is not presence yet. I am hoping to develop my inner six-pack by March 6, 2005.
