Inside Out OMC Summer Retreat

"Inside Out" Summer Retreat
Philippians 1:6 - "...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Oriental Mission Church (OMC) College

FANTASTIC! I returned home this afternoon after a 3 nights 4 days summer retreat at Arrowhead Ranch in Lake Arrowhead (next to Big Bear Mountain). I was priviledged to get an invitation to play for the praise team as a drummer. Through this retreat, I've improved so much! Plus I got to try out the new Zildjian Avedis A Custom Projection crash. It is extremely loud and if it wasn't for those earplugs, my eardrums would've been severely damaged. Everyone in our praise band was awesome. We all gave our all for our God and worship was just spectacular. Mics-present. Moniors-present. Powerpoint and projector-present. Holy Spirit-present.

The campsite was reserved for the OMC ministry and so we had the place all for ourself. There was a swimming pool, a full basketball court, lot of rooms in the cabin, and good meals.

Our guest speaker was Pastor James from Living Way church in Los Angeles. Pastor James is gifted in a certain way. Pastor James resemble Pastor Steve. People were saying that they look like twins. The height, skinny, glasses, similar jaw bones and hairstyle.

I was tremendously blessed through the sermons. Everything I've learned, I really want to apply it to my life and daily walk.
"What we do with Jesus is far more important than what we do for Jesus."
"Pastor and Sunday sermon should not be your main resource for spiritual food. Sunday service is not the main course of the meal. If it is, there is a problem. The main course of the meal is your daily quiet time, reading bible, and praying. Pastor and Sunday service is a supplement for you." [not exact quote] This quotes really hit me. I understand now. Thank you Lord.

As I'm writing this, I'm still dealing with the motion sickness that I picked up during the drive down. I thought the kimchi, kak doo gi, and sul lung tahng would remedy the problem but it didn't.
Overall, I was so satisfied with the retreat and had a real good time. I've met really cool brothers and sisters in the ministry.
