| Sarang eCollege presents Membership Class Welcome to the Membership Class of Sarang ECollege Ministry! We thank you for taking the time to find out more about Sarang Community Church and the E-College Ministry. This class is a basic introduction to our church family. People from various church backgrounds come as well as those who are new in faith, so it is important that we establish the same foundation. This class will focus on two main topics. The first session will explain what it means to become a Christian, not in a cultural sense, but in a biblical and spiritual sense. The second and third sessions will focus on what it means to belong to the church. Becoming a member of a church essentially two things: belonging to Christ and belonging to a group of Christians. We are confident that this class will benefit you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, either during the sessions or at the end. Session One: Salvation (Belonging to Christ) Session Two: Church I (Belonging to the body of Christ) The basis for this class: “You are a member of God’s very own family…and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” -Ephesians 2:19 (LB) Key truths:
I will commit myself to CHRIST and to the GROUP OF CHRISTIANS, namely, Sarang ECollege Ministry. Originally posted on 21st May 2004 - 10:11 PM in the Life forum. Sarang Church eCollege Membership Class Sarang Bridge Ministry - English College |

| STEM Sarang Team of Evangelism and Missions For all the Earth is His. - Exodus 19:5 What is STEM? STEM is the abbreviation for Sarang Team for Evangelism and Mission. STEM started with pastor Daniel Kim (a missionary now at Thailand) and Pastor Henry Lee (a missionary now at Russia) in 1993 with only 3 college brothers and sisters. Since then, every year, college students were continually trained and sent to the most un-reached areas of the world. From 1995, STEM ministry began to work with OM (Operation Mobilization) to open new doors to their life and personally experienced a taste of what mission life is all about. In connection with STEM, our brothers and sisters in our college group have in opportunity to understand how imp0rtant and vital it is to be prepared and disciplined in order to know what it means to be “in Christ.” STEM helps you learn what love is all over again by learnin what it means to truly love a lost soul. Through God’sgrace, STEM directs you in to the hands of the Potter, who faithfully molds and chisels you to be more like Christ. Quote:
We first need to obtain a teachable heart. The attitude of “I am not the one who is to teach, but I am the one who is to learn,” is very curcial. We must have open hearts to learn and accept what God gives to us. *Ministry Through Local Churches If there is a Christian church, then there is definitely a ministry. There is VBS (Vacation Bible School) for the children ministry and Youth camp for the teenagers. There is also Campus Outreach Programs with local college students. *Outdoor (Street Evangelism) The name of Jesus Christ will spread in every street through praises, mimes, body worships, and puppet shows. *Intercessory Prayer & Witnessing (Friendship Evangelism) While you travel from city to city, you will meet local people and see and experience for yourself what kind of lifestyle they live in. Precious opportunities of sharing your faith can arise as you meet them. Also, you will visit various places and pray for those areas. *English Ministry God gives us an excellent opportunity to use our gift of knowing and speaking the English language. |
